Educational Scholarship Award Ceremony by Dharmavijaya Foundation – 2026.

A scholarship awarding ceremony for 46 children who were eligible to receive educational scholarships offered by the Dharmavijaya Foundation was held at the Auditorium of Dharmavijaya Foundation on 11th July 2026. Aggamaha Pandita, Mahanayake of the Amarapura Sri Dharmarakshitha Nikaya, the Uththara Anusasaka of the Dharmavijaya Foundation, Most Venerable Tirikunamale Ananda Mahanayake Thero attended as the special guest for this ceremony while the Patron of the Dharmavijaya Foundation, Tripitakacharya Sastrapati Rajajaya Pandita Venerable Hakmana Sumanasiri Thero and the Sastrapati Venerable Siri Vajiraramaya Gnanaseha Thero attended as invited guests. The special guest lecture at the event was delivered by Dr. Praneeth Abhayasundara, Lecturer at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, while the President of the Dharmavijaya Foundation, Mr. Isuru Thilakawardena, Secretary Dr. Yasa Siriwardena and Ms. Chandrika Chitrangani, representing the Education Committee, addressed the scholarship awarding ceremony. The ceremony was conducted by Mr. H. B. Premaratne. Students studying in Universities, Vocational Education, as well as in GCE Advanced Level and Year 6 to Ordinary Level are eligible to receive these scholarships offered annually by the Dharmavijaya Foundation. Under this scheme, the Foundation will provide financial assistance to the scholarship recipients on a quarterly basis until the completion of their education. A special thank goes to all the donors who contributed by providing those funds. The 2026 Education Scholarship Ceremony was successfully concluded with the participation of the Board of Trustees of the Dharmavijaya Foundation, the staff of the Dharmavijaya Foundation, the children who received scholarships and their parents.
