The Operation Strategy

Some activities related to the four aspects, namely economic, educational, health, and moral development, are carried out by the Dharmavijaya Foundation (DVF) with the involvement of Board Members at the central level. At the individual community level, the operational approach of the Dharmavijaya Foundation is to engage with communities through temples, where the Head Monk plays a guiding role. A Dharmavijaya Society is formed within a temple to take responsibility for implementing activities and projects at the community level. The initiative to form a Dharmavijaya Society arises from the chief monk of a temple, following discussion with the community and lay leaders he guides. The DVF does not seek to initiate or solicit the formation of Societies. At present, there are 472 Dharmavijaya Societies in 21 Districts.
