Further discussion on the future work to make the training course for preaching Buddhist Dharma in Tamil a National Program.

A discussion on the future work to make the training program for monks to preach Buddhist Dharma in Tamil, a national program was held at the office of the Commissioner General of Buddhist Affairs on 12th January 2026 under the patronage of the Commissioner General of Buddhist Affairs and the Most Venerable Pandith Medagama Dhammananda Nayaka Thero. This program is being implemented by the Dharmavijaya Foundation for reconciliation, national unity and religious advancement. Tamil language scholar Professor Vajira Prabath Wijesinghe, who provides resources for the Tamil language training course, Honorable Vice President of the Dharmavijaya Foundation Mr. H. B. Premaratne and Honorable Deputy Secretary Mr. Sunil Chandrakumara participated in the discussion. Photos during the discussion are shown below.
