Discussion held with the team from the volunteer organization ‘Firefly Missions’.

A discussion was held at the Dharmavijaya Foundation on August 29, 2026, with ‘Firefly Missions’ a volunteer organization based in Singapore. This was Coordinated by the Vice President of DVF Dr. Nalin Gunasinghe. The Foundation’s role was outlined during the beginning of the meeting and the discussions took place regarding water requirements, the development needs of preschools and Dhamma schools and health-related development needs within Dharmavijaya community based villages. Furthermore, discussions were held concerning drinking water projects that the organization is undertaking for two Dharmavijaya community groups in the Kurunegala and Puttalam areas to improve rural health. On this occasion, the organization made a financial donation to the Dharmavijaya Foundation and expressed their agreement to collaborate closely with the Foundation in the future. Members of Firefly Missions and Trustees of the Dharmavijaya Foundation participated in the discussion and photographs from the event are shown below.
